Privacy policy
Effective October 19, 2026. The short version: ChairWhiz doesn't collect personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms.
Information we collect
We don't collect personal information such as your name, email address or phone number.
The answers you give the chair finder, like your height, weight and how you sit, are processed entirely in your web browser to rank chairs. They aren't sent to us, saved or shared, and they're gone when you close or refresh the page.
Hosting and technical data
ChairWhiz is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare automatically processes basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use this information to identify you. Cloudflare's handling of this data is covered by its privacy policy.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly analytics that count visits in aggregate, such as how many people viewed a page. These don't use cookies, don't track you across other websites and don't identify you personally.
Cookies
ChairWhiz itself doesn't set cookies.
Affiliate links and other websites
Some links take you to stores such as Amazon. ChairWhiz is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click a store link, you leave ChairWhiz, and that store may set its own cookies, for example to record that you came from us so we can earn a commission on a purchase. What those sites collect is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. Amazon's privacy notice is available on amazon.com.
If you email us
If you choose to email us, we use your email address and message only to reply. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your details.
Children
ChairWhiz isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information a business holds about you. Because ChairWhiz doesn't collect or store personal information, there's usually nothing for us to provide or delete. If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, just ask. We don't sell or share personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date above.
